Common defoaming solutions on the market often suffer from poor compatibility, weak persistence, or adverse effects on resin clarity and curing performance, failing to meet the stringent quality requirements of high-end applications. Our solution is based on in-depth research into resin systems and bubble formation mechanisms. Firstly, through composite technology utilizing selected modified polysiloxanes and special non-ionic surfactants, we ensure excellent compatibility between the defoamer and epoxy resins as well as various curing agents, avoiding defects like craters or fisheyes. Secondly, our products feature extremely low surface tension, enabling rapid penetration into bubble film walls to rupture them while suppressing foam regeneration. They maintain stable effectiveness throughout the entire process: resin mixing, vacuum defoaming, and potting/curing.
The specific application steps are clear and straightforward: Step 1, add Chemi Tech defoamer at 0.1%-0.5% dosage into the epoxy resin main component or hardener; Step 2, it is recommended to add during routine stirring to ensure uniform dispersion; Step 3, combine with subsequent vacuum defoaming processes to further eliminate trace residual bubbles, achieving a dense and flawless final product.
We assisted a precision electronic component manufacturer in East China in solving micro-bubble issues within their potting compound.
