In the production process of pesticide formulations, foam issues frequently trouble many enterprises. From active ingredient synthesis to formulation processing, and then to filling operations, excessive foam not only reduces equipment utilization and limits production efficiency but may also lead to inaccurate product dosing, inconsistent appearance, and even affect the stable performance of the final product efficacy. Faced with this widespread industry pain point, finding an efficient, stable, and highly compatible defoaming solution is crucial.
Leveraging years of experience focused on the research and development of specialty chemicals, Chemi Tech has conducted an in-depth analysis of the core mechanisms behind foam generation in pesticide systems. Foam formation is typically related to surfactants, impurities in the system, and mechanical shear during production. To address this, we have developed a series of targeted pesticide defoamer products. These products are meticulously designed to quickly penetrate the foam film, reduce local surface tension, promote rapid bubble rupture and suppress foam regeneration, while maintaining good compatibility with various components in the pesticide system, without negatively impacting the product's primary efficacy.
Our solution follows clear and effective steps. Step one is diagnosis and analysis: our technical team will gain a detailed understanding of the customer's specific process, formulation composition, and the exact stage where foam occurs. Step two is product selection and testing: based on the diagnosis, we select the most suitable defoamer sample from Chemi Tech's product portfolio for laboratory simulation or small-scale on-site trials to evaluate its defoaming speed, persistence, and compatibility. Step three is solution optimization and finalization: based on test feedback, we adjust the dosage or provide blending recommendations to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness and stable results. Step four is providing stable product supply and ongoing technical support to ensure long-term smooth production.
In a case involving a customer focused on herbicide production, severe foam was encountered at the filling stage of their aqueous production line, causing reduced filling speed and uneven liquid levels in bottles. After an on-site inspection, Chemi Tech's technical engineer recommended our silicon-carbon composite defoamer CM-310. The customer confirmed the product's excellent defoaming and foam suppression performance in laboratory tests, followed by a production trial with an addition rate of 0.03%. The result was an immediate restoration of the filling line's efficiency to its designed capacity, significantly improved filling accuracy, and fundamental control of the foam problem. The customer expressed high satisfaction with the improvement in production continuity and product appearance.
Choosing Chemi Tech means you not only obtain an efficient defoamer product but also gain a trustworthy technical partner. We are committed to helping pesticide manufacturers overcome foam challenges and achieve more efficient and stable production operations through professional products and meticulous technical services.
