Foam not only causes overflow from oil sumps, resulting in raw material waste and site contamination, but also severely affects cooling performance, lubrication efficiency, and pump performance, and may even lead to equipment cavitation, shortening service life. How to control foam efficiently and persistently has become a pressing technical challenge for many factories.

Our solution is not merely about addition but is based on in-depth analysis of foam generation mechanisms. The surfactants and stable structures within the emulsified oil system are the main reasons for persistent foam. Therefore, the core design of our defoamer focuses on: First, selecting specially modified polysiloxanes and polymers with good compatibility with the system but lower surface tension, enabling rapid spreading on the foam film. The specific application steps are clear and straightforward. First, customers need to provide small samples for compatibility and efficacy evaluation. After determining the model, it is recommended to add the defoamer directly during the emulsified oil production stage or at the initial stage of foam generation, typically at a dosage of 0.1% to 0.5% of the total oil volume. Moderate stirring is required during addition to ensure uniform dispersion. For on-site systems already experiencing severe foam, direct drop-wise or flow addition to the foam accumulation area can achieve rapid defoaming. We once served a precision component manufacturer in East China.
