In waterborne coating production, color floating and flooding, pigment settling and poor dispersion stability are common technical pain points. These problems directly affect hiding power, color uniformity and storage life, weakening product competitiveness.

Based on years of R&D experience, Chemi Tech has launched a high-performance waterborne coating dispersant series. Its molecular structure is designed specifically for waterborne systems: anchoring groups bind firmly to pigment surfaces while hydrophilic chain segments extend into the water to form steric hindrance, achieving long-term stable dispersion of pigment particles.

Our solution contains three core steps: first, laboratory analysis identifies the pigment type and system polarity to match the most suitable dispersant grade; second, precise dosage ratios and dispersion process parameters (such as speed and time) are provided; finally, accelerated stability tests verify results and ensure batch consistency.

A coatings producer faced obvious color floating when producing gray exterior wall coatings. By adopting the Chemi Tech dispersant CT-312 at the recommended 0.6% with a high-speed dispersion process, the finished product showed no layering after 28 days of storage, with uniform film color and the contrast ratio rising from 0.92 to 0.97.

Chemi Tech is committed to practical technical support and customized solutions that improve product performance and production efficiency.
