Inorganic pigments often face challenges such as dispersion difficulties, sedimentation, and uneven color in applications like coatings and inks. These issues directly affect product gloss, stability, and production efficiency. Addressing these needs, Chemi Tech has developed a series of wetting dispersants that significantly enhance pigment dispersion through scientific formulations.

The solution involves three steps: First, select an appropriate Chemi Tech dispersant model, such as the KMK-200 series, which efficiently bonds with inorganic pigment surfaces. Second, add the dispersant during the grinding phase at 0.5%-1.5% of pigment weight, with thorough mixing to ensure even wetting. Third, optimize dispersion stability by adjusting pH to 8-9. This process requires no complex equipment and achieves uniform pigment particle distribution.
Case: An industrial coatings manufacturer experienced noticeable sedimentation after storage with traditional dispersants, leading to batch variations. After switching to Chemi Tech KMK-205 dispersant, pigment suspension stability improved, with no sedimentation after 6 months of storage, and coating gloss increased from 85% to 92%, reducing production adjustment time.
Chemi Tech dispersants also offer broad compatibility and low dosage, suitable for various inorganic pigments like iron oxide and titanium dioxide. With professional application support, we help customers optimize formulations, lower costs, and enhance product competitiveness.
