1. This paint has a good gloss;
2. The paint film is full and the color is bright;
3. Good mechanical strength, good weather resistance, and natural drying ability.
Suitable for the protection and decorative coating of indoor and outdoor metal and wood surfaces.
Case Background
The project involves a county-level cultural heritage protected site. The main structure is a Ming-Qing dynasty wooden building facing severe aging issues:
Original paint film extensively peeling (peeling rate exceeding 60%)
Wooden components exhibiting crazing and deformation (maximum crack width: 5mm)
Construction constraints: Power tools prohibited; original color and texture must be preserved
Chemi Tech Solution
Chemi Tech collaborated with the Institute of Ancient Architecture to develop a "Traditional Craftsmanship + Modified Alkyd Enamel" preservation solution:
Substrate Treatment
Manual removal of old paint layers (avoiding damage to wood grain)
Crack filling using tung oil + tile ash powder (traditional technique)
Coating System
Primer: Penetrating wood-specific primer (enhances adhesion)
Topcoat: KMX-308 Heritage-Grade Alkyd Enamel (custom matte finish)
✓ UV absorbers (SPF50+ equivalent protection)
✓ VOC content <80g/L (below cultural relics standards)
Process Innovation
Replicated traditional "one-hemp-five-putty" technique
Hand-applied using natural bristle brushes (ensuring texture consistency)
Results
Protective Performance
✓ Passed 300 freeze-thaw cycles (-30℃~50℃)
✓ 400% improved water resistance (no change after 72-hour immersion)
"Among all competing proposals, Chemi Tech’s alkyd enamel was the only solution simultaneously meeting cultural preservation requirements and modern durability standards. Their matte series perfectly restored the original texture of the ancient structure, especially in carved details – even won the nod of approval from 80-year-old master craftsmen."

Sealed storage in a cool and dry place, with a shelf life of 12 months. If it exceeds the shelf life and passes inspection, it can still be used.
1. The surface of the coated object requires degreasing and dirt removal. The previous coat of paint must be completely dry.
2. The paint must be thoroughly mixed before use. If the viscosity is too thick, a matching diluent can be used to adjust it to the construction viscosity. A single coating of dry film should not be too thick (50+5 µ m is recommended), otherwise it may lead to poor drying and cause quality accidents. To obtain a thicker coating, multiple layers of construction can be used.
3. Painting methods: roller coating, brush coating, and spray coating can be used.
