Case Background
The client, a municipal transportation construction group, is responsible for building a 320-meter-long river-crossing bridge. Due to the project's location in a high-humidity environment, the anti-corrosion requirements for the bridge's steel structure are extremely stringent. The original plan specified conventional alkyd paint, but testing revealed:
Rust appeared after only 500 hours in salt spray testing
Severe chalking occurred after 6 months of UV exposure

Storage:
Sealed storage in a cool and dry place, with a shelf life of 12 months. If it exceeds the shelf life and passes inspection, it can still be used.
instructions:
1. The surface of the workpiece requires the removal of rust, oil stains, dust, and other contaminants on the surface of the coated material. The surface should be clean to ensure excellent properties such as weather resistance, water resistance, gloss, and adhesion of the paint film.
The previous coat of paint must be completely dry.
2. For the two-component paint film that has been cured for a long time, it needs to be sanded with fine sandpaper and then coated with a topcoat.
3. Painting methods: brushing, spraying.
4. To ensure quality, please use the matching alcohol acid paint special thinner.
Security protection:
The construction site should have good ventilation facilities, and painters should wear glasses, gloves, masks, etc. to avoid skin contact and inhalation of paint mist. Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited on the construction site.
