In industrial grinding processes, foam emergence often becomes an invisible barrier that troubles engineers. It not only slows production pace but may also compromise the uniformity and quality of end products. A fine materials enterprise in East China once faced such a challenge: during the grinding of advanced ceramic slurry, persistent foam generation reduced equipment efficiency and even caused frequent production halts.
The Chemi Tech technical team conducted on-site investigations and found that foam stability was closely related to the physicochemical properties of fine particles in the slurry. By compounding modified polyethers and hydrophobic particles, we developed a targeted grinding defoamer. Its molecular structure rapidly penetrates the foam interface, disrupting film balance to achieve fast defoaming and long-term foam suppression. After application, the enterprise’s grinding cycle was shortened by approximately 20%, product qualification rates significantly improved, and the defoamer itself did not affect the dispersion or final color of the slurry.
Chemi Tech believes that true technological empowerment stems from attention to detail. We reject generic formulas and insist on customizing solutions for each grinding system, helping clients unlock efficiency potential in seemingly minor details.
