Polyester-cotton dyeing with reactive dyes and alkali (NaOH 30g/L, pH≥13) generates CO₂ foam. At 130°C, foam accumulation causes color spots and unevenness. One dyeing mill observed 60% defoamer efficacy loss and 22% residual foam with traditional products.
KMT-2008 features:
Fluoro-silicone copolymer: C6 fluorocarbon chains maintain ≤22mN/m surface tension at pH 12–14.
Shear-stable self-emulsification: No oil separation after 130°C treatment, preventing fabric spots.
Dynamic foam suppression: 0.3‰ dosage inhibits foam for 120 minutes (3x longer than alternatives).
Replacing SAG-PHD in jet dyeing machines:
0.25‰ dosage cut residual foam to <3% (previously 22%).
Fabric color difference ΔE improved from 4.8 to 0.9, with 98.5% first-pass yield.
Alkaline batch stability exceeded 50 cycles, reducing annual consumption by 38 tons.
Ideal for pad-steam and jet dyeing under high-temperature/alkaline conditions.
