Chemi Tech recently announced a major application breakthrough for its innovatively developed high-performance leveling agent in the industrial coatings field. By optimizing coating flow and extensibility, the product significantly improves surface smoothness during application.
At the coating line of an automation equipment manufacturer in Jiangsu, the Chemi Tech leveling agent was applied in an epoxy resin coating system. Systematic testing by the technical team showed that the additive effectively balanced the surface tension of the coating, reducing orange peel by about 70% without affecting the hardness or chemical resistance of the original film. The project engineer commented: "This leveling agent has taken the appearance quality of our products to a new level, while lowering the rework rate caused by surface defects."
The leveling agent uses special modified polysiloxane technology and is compatible with a variety of resin systems, achieving leveling quickly even at room temperature. According to the head of R&D, the product's molecular structure innovation maintains leveling efficiency while avoiding the cratering defects commonly caused by conventional additives.
The technology has been filed for patent protection and has completed field verification at multiple manufacturers in East China. Chemi Tech will continue optimizing product performance to provide more complete surface treatment solutions for industrial coating.
