During the operation of a spray booth, the circulating water system often produces large amounts of stubborn foam. This foam not only affects the spraying quality and causes defects on the paint surface, but also overflows the tank, making the working environment slippery and creating safety hazards. At the same time, foam accumulation reduces pump efficiency and can even paralyze the wastewater treatment system, increasing maintenance costs and shutdown risks.

Traditional physical defoaming methods are time-consuming and labor-intensive with only a short-lived effect, while ordinary chemical defoamers often perform poorly in the complex water of spray booths, which is rich in resins, solvents and surfactants; they easily decompose and lose efficacy, require frequent addition, and in fact cost more over the long term.

In response to this pain point, Chemi Tech has developed a spray booth wastewater dedicated defoamer. The product uses a special modified silicone-polyether composite technology and has extremely strong foam-breaking and foam-suppressing capabilities. Its features are: first, it quickly penetrates and destroys the foam film, immediately eliminating visible foam; second, it maintains chemical stability in harsh water bodies with high temperature, high pH and rich organic matter, with a long-lasting foam-suppression effect; third, it has good compatibility with spray booth wastewater and does not affect the subsequent water treatment processes.

The specific application solution is divided into four steps: Step one, on-site assessment. Engineers analyze the causes of foam, the water quality and the operating conditions of the system. Step two, small-scale test determination. A wastewater sample is taken in the laboratory or on site for dosing trials to precisely determine the optimal addition point and dosage. Step three, standardized dosing. According to the plan, continuous or intermittent automatic dosing is carried out through a metering pump at the wastewater circulation pipeline or the collection tank to ensure a continuous and stable effect. Step four, effect tracking and optimization. The foam control situation is monitored regularly, and parameters are fine-tuned according to changes in production load to achieve optimal cost control.

We once served a medium-sized auto parts manufacturer. Its spray line wastewater foam problem was serious; overflowing foam had to be manually cleaned every day, and the pump had to be cleaned once every two weeks. After adopting our dedicated defoamer and its supporting dosing system, the foam quickly subsided within 15 minutes of dosing, and the circulating water pool remained clear. The customer thereby achieved automated management, no longer needing to assign a dedicated person to handle the foam; the pump cleaning cycle was extended to more than three months, the overall maintenance cost dropped significantly, and the production environment was substantially improved.

With its targeted formula and reliable effect, Chemi Tech's spray booth wastewater defoamer has helped many customers solve their foam troubles and improved the smoothness and economy of their operations.
