During the production and use of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) glue, foam problems frequently trouble manufacturers — reducing glue uniformity, weakening bonding performance, causing package leakage and lower equipment efficiency, and even leading to raw material waste. Traditional defoaming methods often deliver only short-lived results or damage glue properties, failing to remove the pain point at its root.

Targeting the characteristics of PVA glue, Chemi Tech has developed a dedicated high-efficiency defoamer. Acting at the molecular level, it rapidly breaks surface foam and suppresses foam regeneration while preserving the transparency and viscosity stability of the glue. The solution follows three steps: first, add 0.1%–0.3% of this product at the feeding stage; second, it keeps working throughout stirring to prevent foam accumulation; finally, the finished glue still retains lasting foam suppression during downstream application.

An adhesive manufacturer once suffered rejected batches caused by foam. After adopting our defoamer, the foam elimination rate exceeded 95% and production line efficiency rose by 20%; the customer reported a marked improvement in the coating uniformity of the glue.
