Chemi Tech has recently launched its newly developed semi-synthetic cutting fluid defoamer, designed to address foam-related issues in metal processing that lead to reduced accuracy, decreased equipment efficiency, and fluid overflow.
The defoamer utilizes a specially modified silicone polymer formulation that rapidly penetrates foam systems and disrupts surface tension, enabling instant foam collapse and long-term foam suppression. Test results show that at a dosage of 0.1% to 0.5% under standard processing conditions, foam elimination efficiency exceeds 95%, without compromising the lubricity and anti-rust properties of the cutting fluid.
A component manufacturer in Eastern China reported a 70% reduction in production line downtime caused by foam after trial use, along with significantly improved surface quality of workpieces. Engineers noted excellent compatibility with existing semi-synthetic cutting fluids without requiring parameter adjustments.
Chemi Tech's R&D team stated that the product underwent nearly two years of development, with focus on optimizing stability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. It has passed multiple batches of stability tests and is now available for bulk orders. The company plans to launch series solutions for different processing scenarios in the future.
The defoamer is suitable for processing various materials including cast iron and aluminum alloys, providing users with more stable processing environments and lower overall costs.
